Come take a class at The Trout Museum of Art!Tuesdays, Feb. 16 - March 1, 4:30-5:30pm (3 Sessions) Instructor: Tracey Ellenberg Inspired by the American glass sculptor Dale Chihuly, using translucent acrylic paint, and soft, aluminum wire, you will create abstract sculptures. Wednesdays, Feb. 17 - March 23, 6-8:30pm (6 Sessions)Be inspired by your favorite landscapes in this introductory/intermediate acrylic painting class. You will choose to style and paint your landscapes in a realistic way or an abstract style. Bring your own landscape photos to use as reference.

Meet in the Mielke Theater for storytime with a few of our favorite Little Critter books, written by Mercer Mayer. Meet the star of the book and have your family's photo taken with the character, and make a craft with your children to take home! Included with museum membership or daily admission.

February 18, 2016 - Doors open at 6:30pm, performance begins at 7:30pm Jazz at the Trout Season VI: The Evolution of Jazz Concert at The Trout Museum of Art.

BeBop Guitar performed by Dave Sullivan Quartet.Cost: Members: $12, Non Members $20, Students $5.

February 19, 2016 - 5:00 - 8:00 pm Moonlight Ski and Snowshoe at Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve.

Enjoy the preserve’s 1 mile snowshoe or 1.5 mile ski trail illuminated by candles and moonlight. Normal trail and rental fees apply.

February 19, 2016 - 6:30pm Moonlight Snowshoe Hike - 1000 Islands at 1000 Islands Environmental Center.

Hike the trails with just the light of the moon, stars and naturalist to guide you. If there is ample snow on the ground we will lend out snowshoes to turn it into a snowshoe hike. Hot chocolate will be provided after the hike. Please register at least one week in advance.

February 19, 2016 - February 20, 2016 - 6:00 - 9:00 pm Mystery at the Mansion at Hearthstone Historic House Museum.

Mystery at the Mansion, a series of audient participation murder mysteries, will be held at Hearthstone in February.  Participants asked to come in costume, join the masquerade, watch for clues and solve the crime.  The cost, $110 per person, includes appetizers, dessert and wine.

Spectrum Saturday is designed to give families with children on the autism spectrum a lower sensory experience in the museum. Admission is free to children and their families on the autism spectrum.

February 20, 2016 - Screenings begin at 1 pm, 3 pm, 6pm & 8pm Wildwood Film Festival at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.

15th Annual - The Wildwood Film Festival is a festival for Wisconsin films only. Whether it's the primary creative personnel (producer/director/writer), the actors or even the locations, all projects featured have direct ties to the state.

The New Horizons Orchestra Fox Valley cordially invites you to our free Winter Concert at the Appleton Public Library. Under the direction of Rachel Richards, the orchestra will perform a musical selection spanning four continents.

February 21, 2016 - Doors open at 6:30 pm Salsa in the Snow at Lawrence University Theatres.

Shake off those winter blues and heat up the dance floor while raising funds for a great cause! SALSA MANZANA and Boogie Ballroom team up for an evening of music and dancing and, a silent auction of beautifully painted cellos!
